"being creative together" on Friday 5th December at Burslem School of
Art is the first networking event organised by Community Partnerships.
Community Partnerships brings together -
. people who want to take part in creative activities in the community,
. artists who are working with or want to work with communities,
. and organisations who want to commission creative approaches to service
delivery.
Artists - you are invited to show your community arts practice and give
people the chance to try out your creative activities.
Commissioners - you are invited to come and see the range and quality of
creative community practice in North Staffordshire.
Everyone - please pass on details of the event to people you know who would like to take part in creative activities in the community. We are particularly keen that people who do not usually get the chance to do arts-based things with other people get this information. We are thinking for example of people who are often excluded and only do "art" at a day centre/ drop-in for people who have the same label as them. This event is for everyone!
We hope that this event will enable you to meet people who will help you achieve your aims for creative practice and service delivery.
To book your space, please contact cath@schoolofart.co.uk by 21st November 2008.
