The Cultural Olympiad 'Open weekend'

This coming weekend (26-8 September) sees the launch of the 4 year Cultural Olympiad, with the 'Open weekend'. There will be more than 40 events taking place in every part of the West Midlands – including heritage, arts, film, museums, sports activities and events celebrating the landscape. The complete listing for the region is attached. Some of the highlights include 'Extraordinary Cycles' in Coventry, 'Corner Shop' in West Bromwich, outdoor performance with 'Sabrina and the Engineer' in Bewdley, Worcs and the lighting up of Stoke's impressive Bethesda Chapel – as well as the 'opening up' of rare habitats in Herefordshire and Shropshire.
